Baseball Recap: Lyndhurst Comes Up Short

Lyndhurst came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 9-2 to the Cresskill Cougars.

Johnny Chaname was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.

Lyndhurst has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-12 record this season. As for Cresskill, their victory ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-13-1.

While Lyndhurst had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
