Volleyball Recap: Jordan Takes a Loss

Jordan was the 3-1 winner over Providence Hall when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Beetdiggers took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Patriots on Saturday.

Paige Smith paced Jordan's offense, picking up 12 kills. Smith got some help from Lucy Palmer and her 12 assists. Maiya Hanson controlled things from the service line, finishing with eight aces.

Jordan has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-12 record this season. As for Providence Hall, they moved to 12-10 with that victory, which also ended their six-match losing streak.

Jordan wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Manti on the 4th. As for Providence Hall, they have also already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Bear River on the 4th.
