Volleyball Game Preview: Valley Vikings vs. Brush Beetdiggers + How To Watch

Valley has gone a perfect 10-0 against Brush recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Vikings will welcome the Beetdiggers at 4:30 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

While Valley's victory against Weld Central wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Vikings sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Rebels on Thursday. The Vikings haven't had any issues with the Rebels recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Valley's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Khloe Barron, who had 13 digs and one assist, and Jade Nevarez, who had 42 assists and 13 digs. Those 42 assists gave Nevarez a new career-high.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Brush, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They blew past Wray 3-0 on Saturday.

While Brush won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-14, 25-22.

Valley's win bumped their record up to 6-10. As for Brush, their victory bumped their record up to 8-12.

Valley took their win against Brush when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Vikings repeat their success, or do the Beetdiggers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
