Basketball Recap: Fort Calhoun Find Success

Conestoga came into Tuesday's match looking for another win against Fort Calhoun, but Adam Elofson wouldn't allow it. The Fort Calhoun Pioneers took down the Conestoga Cougars 37-22 on Tuesday thanks in part to Elofson, who went 7 of 13 on his way to 14 points along with seven boards and five assists. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in steals (four).

Fort Calhoun's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Conestoga, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 0-2.

Fort Calhoun will venture away from home to face off against Douglas County West at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Conestoga, they will welcome Lourdes Central Catholic at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
