Basketball Recap: Lomira Snaps Five-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Lomira suffered their closest defeat since December 2, 2023 on Thursday. They fell just short of the St. Mary's Springs Ledgers by a score of 65-62. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Ledgers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Lomira's defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-2. As for St. Mary's Springs, they pushed their record up to 9-4 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

Lomira wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 73-68 loss against Kiel on the 18th. St. Mary's Springs has also already played their next game, a 70-36 win against Oakfield on the 18th.
