Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Edisto). They breezed past the Denmark-Olar Vikings to the tune of 44-6 on Saturday. The Cougars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by 23 points or more this season.

The win made it two in a row for Edisto and bumps their season record up to 4-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 12 points in those games. As for Denmark-Olar, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Edisto and Denmark-Olar will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Cougars will square off against rival Hampton County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Denmark-Olar is set to challenge their familiar foe Ridgeland Secondary Academy Of Excellence at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
