Manchester is a perfect 8-0 against Springfield since February of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Manchester Panthers will venture away from home to challenge the Springfield Spartans at 7:00 p.m. Manchester will be strutting in after a win while Springfield will be coming in after a defeat.

Last Friday, Manchester earned a 54-43 victory over West Holmes. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 345th, while the Knights are ranked 716th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Springfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 25th straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by Norton 60-19.

Springfield's defeat dropped their record down to 0-20. As for Manchester, their win bumped their record up to 12-7.

Everything came up roses for Manchester against Springfield when the teams last played back in December of 2023, as the squad secured a 71-34 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Manchester since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
