Volleyball Recap: Columbine Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Columbine lost against Ralston Valley back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Rebels came up short against the Mustangs, falling 3-0. The Rebels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-16, 25-13.

Sofia Screaton paced Columbine's offense, picking up ten kills. Screaton got some help from Maddie Lynett and her 21 assists.

Ralston Valley was led to victory by Taylor Harteker and Bella Goodall. Harteker had five digs and four aces, while Goodall had 12 digs and one assist. Goodall is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last ten games she's played.

Columbine's loss dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Ralston Valley, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 13-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Columbine will face off against rival Lakewood at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Ralston Valley is set to square off against their familiar foe Dakota Ridge at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
