Soccer Recap: Boonville Comes Up Short

Boonville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Southern Boone Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Boonville of the 9-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Boonville's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Southern Boone, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-4.

Looking ahead, Boonville will venture away from home to challenge Fatima at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Southern Boone, they will take on Belle at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Southern Boone will be up against Belle's rather soft defense (which has allowed 5.25 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
