Volleyball Recap: Cedar Takes a Loss

Cedar was the 3-0 winner over Hurricane when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. The Reds came up short against the Tigers on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

Cedar was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Hurricane work for it, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-13, 26-24, 25-19.

Cedar has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-8 record this season. As for Hurricane, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-9.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Cedar will square off against rival Pine View at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Hurricane is set to challenge their familiar foe Desert Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
