Preview: Reidsville Rams vs. Cannon Cougars
Having just played yesterday, the Reidsville Rams will jump right back in to play the Cannon Cougars at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the pair will really light up the scoreboard.
Reidsville put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against Farmville Central by a score of 76-64. The victory was all the more spectacular given Reidsville's disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 75th, while Farmville Central is ranked eighth).
Meanwhile, everything went Cannon's way against Broughton on Wednesday as Cannon made off with a 78-53 win. The win was just what Cannon needed coming off of a 97-66 defeat in their prior match.
Reidsville's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Cannon, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.
