Tindley will be up against a hot Irvington Preparatory Academy team: the squad just extended their winning streak to four. Everything went Irvington Preparatory Academy's way against Indiana School for the Deaf on Thursday as they made off with a 19-1 victory.

Brayden Meredith and Aiden Pollock were major factors while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Meredith tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Pollock struck out nine batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in May of 2024. At bat, Meredith got on base in two of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and three runs, while Pollock went 2-for-4 with one triple and one RBI. That triple marked the first that Pollock has hit this season.
In other batting news, Irvington Preparatory Academy got a massive performance out of Owen Kriech, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with six RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Those four hits gave Kriech a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Corbyn Eaton, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.
Meanwhile, after only two runs in their last matchup, Tindley made sure to put some runs up on the board against Indianapolis Washington on Thursday. The Tigers put the hurt on the Continentals with a sharp 15-5 win. Considering the Tigers' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.
Like Irvington Preparatory Academy, Tindley also got a great game from a two-way player: Clarence Shipp. He struck out eight batters over four innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits. Shipp was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with two runs.
In other batting news, Wilson Makori was excellent, going 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Caleb Johnson was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
Irvington Preparatory Academy's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Tindley, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.
Everything went Irvington Preparatory Academy's way against Tindley in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Irvington Preparatory Academy made off with a 29-3 victory.
