Basketball Recap: Maynard Comes Up Short

If Maynard was feeling good fresh off their 58-37 takedown of Minuteman Regional last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Maynard Tigers fell 48-38 to the Tyngsborough Tigers on Tuesday. Maynard has struggled against Tyngsborough recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Maynard's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Tyngsborough, their win bumped their record up to 3-12.

Maynard didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 66-38 loss against Lunenburg on the 7th. As for Tyngsborough, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 76-36 defeat against Clinton on the 7th.
