Baseball Recap: Trinity Takes a Loss

Trinity was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They came up short against the Butler County Bears, falling 14-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-3 on Monday.

Trinity's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Butler County, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Trinity will take on Caverna at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Raiders are facing the Colonels at the right time seeing as the Colonels are stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Butler County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Russellville at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Panthers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11 runs per game on average), something the Bears will no doubt try to take advantage of.
