Recap: Bonneville Lakers vs. Viewmont Vikings

The Bonneville Lakers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They took a 55-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of Viewmont. If Bonneville hoped to take revenge for the 57-44 loss against they when the teams met, then they were left disappointed.

Bonneville lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Nick Sebahar, who scored 14 points along with two steals. Sebahar has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. Ben Tesch was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with five rebounds and three steals.

Bonneville struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only three offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Bonneville has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season. As for Viewmont, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-11.

Bonneville will head out on the road to square off against Northridge at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Northridge's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three games. As for Viewmont, they will be playing at home against Clearfield at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Clearfield is hoping to put an end to an eight-game streak of away losses.
