Volleyball Recap: Badin Rams vs. Sycamore Aviators
Badin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Sycamore Aviators. The Rams were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Aviators apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.
The final score came out to 25-18, 25-14, 25-9.
Hailey Weber paced Badin's offense, picking up five kills. Weber got some help from Elyse Weinheimer and her ten assists. Caitlin Brown and Carley Nadler kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.
Lainey Tilton was nothing short of spectacular for Sycamore: she had 15 digs and three aces. That's the most aces Tilton has posted since back in August.
Badin's loss dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Sycamore, they pushed their record up to 13-9 with the win, which was their third straight at home.
Badin wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 defeat against Goshen on the 15th. As for Sycamore, they will be taking part in a tournament against Milford at 6:00 p.m. on the 22nd.
