Football Recap: Riverside Comes Up Short

Riverside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Adamsville Cardinals, falling 46-6. The Panthers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 27-6.

Riverside's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Adamsville, the win (which was their fifth in a row dating back to last season) raised their record to 3-0.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Riverside is set to square off against their familiar foe Mt. Pleasant at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Adamsville will take on rival Lewis County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
