Football Recap: White Deer's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

If White Deer was riding high fresh off their 39-16 takedown of San Jacinto Christian Academy last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bucks received a blow on Friday as they fell 30-14 to the Miami Warriors. The loss continues a trend for the Bucks in their meetings with the Warriors: they've now lost four in a row.

Although White Deer took the loss, they still got scores from Karson Vaughn and Lucas Radina.

Miami found their leader in freshman Chance White, who rushed for 242 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 9.3 yards per carry. Those 242 rushing yards set a new season-high mark for White.

Having lost for the first time this season, White Deer fell to 3-1. As for Miami, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Coming up, White Deer will welcome Silverton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bucks will be up against the Owls' rather soft defense (which has allowed 58.75 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Miami, they will head out to challenge McLean at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each match than the last.
