Plattsburgh had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt AuSable Valley on Monday. The Hornets were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Patriots. The Hornets haven't had any issues with the Patriots recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-19, 25-9.

Leading Plattsburgh to victory were Olivia Lathrop and Cali Ryerson. Lathrop had ten aces and four digs, while Ryerson had eight kills, four aces, and three digs. Ryerson is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had five or more in each of the last nine games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Dana LaValley, who had four digs and three aces.

They weren't the only good servers: Plattsburgh was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 22 aces. They are 12-1 when they serve at least ten aces.
