Dixon was handed a ten-run loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Monday. They had just enough and edged out the Rio Linda Knights 8-7. For the Rams, this counts as revenge for the 4-3 win the Knights walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2024.

Andrew Galindo looked comfortable as he pitched 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.
