Volleyball Recap: Incline Highlanders vs. Yerington Lions

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Incline can now relate to. They fell 3-1 to the Yerington Lions on Saturday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Highlanders of the 3-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October.

Incline started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 15-25, 25-16, 25-19, 25-14.

Leading Yerington to victory were America Hernandez and Danika Gutierrez. Hernandez had 22 digs, while Gutierrez had 23 digs, five aces, and two kills. That's the most aces Gutierrez has posted in her last six matchups.
