East Robertson suffered their closest defeat since March 28, 2024 on Thursday. They fell just short of the Westmoreland Eagles by a score of 7-5. The Indians' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Isabella Smith made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Those two RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Anna Highsmith, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-4.

East Robertson's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Westmoreland, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Coming up, East Robertson will be playing in front of their home fans against Station Camp at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Station Camp will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something East Robertson surely won't give up without a fight.
