Arroyo is a perfect 5-0 against Tennyson since March of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:30 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Arroyo is headed into the match having just suffered their biggest loss since February 25th two weeks ago. They came up short against Castro Valley, falling 3-0. The Dons haven't had much luck with the Trojans recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Arroyo was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-22, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Tennyson was not able to break out of their rough patch last Wednesday as the team picked up their 17th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to San Lorenzo.

Tennyson's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Arroyo, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-9.

Arroyo took their victory against Tennyson in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Dons repeat their success, or do the Lancers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
