Basketball Recap: Family of Faith Christian Comes Up Short

Family of Faith Christian lost against Mid-Moore Christian back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Family of Faith Christian Warriors were beaten by the Mid-Moore Christian Tornados 56-28.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Mid-Moore Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Samuel Spivey, who posted 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Caeson Moore, who had 15 points.

Family of Faith Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Mid-Moore Christian, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-3.

Family of Faith Christian will challenge Lakewood Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Family of Faith Christian is facing Lakewood Christian at the right time seeing as Lakewood Christian is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Mid-Moore Christian, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 69-54 loss against Life Christian on the 25th.
