Football Recap: St. Frances Academy Regional Falls to Loudoun Sports Academy in First Game of Season

St. Frances Academy Regional had to start their season on the road on Saturday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell 12-6 to the Loudoun Sports Academy Timberwolves. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Travon Jackson was the offensive standout of the contest as he picked up 33 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Coming up, St. Frances Academy Regional will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Hewlett Sports Academy on Friday. As for Loudoun Sports Academy, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on The St. James Performance Academy at 5:00 p.m. on September 6.
