Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Gunnison Valley). They breezed past the Parowan Rams to the tune of 50-13 on Tuesday. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 26-6.
Gunnison Valley was led to victory by Rylee Bartholomew and Autumn Anderson. Bartholomew dropped a triple-double with 20 points, 11 rebounds, and ten steals, while Anderson dropped a double-double with 19 points and 12 boards. Those 19 points gave Anderson a new career-high. Emma Beard also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.
Gunnison Valley smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in seven consecutive matchups dating back to last season.
