Football Game Preview: Corinth Holders Pirates vs. Athens Drive Jaguars + How To Watch

The Corinth Holders Pirates will venture away from home to square off against the Athens Drive Jaguars at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Corinth Holders will be strutting in after a win while Athens Drive will be coming in after a defeat.

Corinth Holders took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They blew past Wakefield, posting a 36-0 victory. That 36 point margin sets a new team best for the Pirates this season.

Meanwhile, Athens Drive was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by Enloe and fell 50-22. The contest was a 22-22 toss-up at halftime, but the Jaguars couldn't quite close it out.

Corinth Holders will have to contain Tyrese Madry as he made an impact in Athens Drive's last game. He rushed for 101 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also threw for 129 yards and one TD on only 11 passes. A healthy portion of Madry's aerial production (102 yards to be exact) went to TreShawn Barlow, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Athens Drive's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Corinth Holders, the win got them back to even at 3-3.
