Softball Recap: Lake Placid Takes a Loss

If Lake Placid was riding high fresh off their 12-2 takedown of Avon Park on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Dragons fell 7-2 to the Charlotte Fightin' Tarpons on Wednesday.

Lake Placid saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hadlee Prescott, who went 1-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

Lake Placid's loss dropped their record down to 12-12. As for Charlotte, with the victory, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 11-13.

As of now, neither Lake Placid nor the Fightin' Tarpons have any future games scheduled.
