Hale posted their closest win since February 27, 2024 on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Au Gres-Sims Wolverines, sneaking past 50-47. Winning may never get old, but the Eagles sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.

Several Wolverines players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Sophie Fox, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 13 boards. Fox is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last ten games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Analeis Ming, who posted 12 points in addition to six boards and five assists.

Hale's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-5. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 32.5 points. As for Au Gres-Sims, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-5 record this season.

Coincidentally, Hale and Au Gres-Sims will both be playing Posen the next time they take the court. Au Gres-Sims will host Posen at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Hale will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
