The Booker T. Washington Golden Eagles will square off against the Pleasant Grove Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Booker T. Washington's defense has only allowed 13.9 points per game this season, so Pleasant Grove's offense will have their work cut out for them.

On Thursday, Booker T. Washington didn't have too much trouble with Shades Valley as they won 27-13.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pleasant Grove). They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Bibb County 49-46. The victory was nothing new for the Spartans as they're now sitting on three straight.

Pleasant Grove's win came from a few key players Booker T. Washington will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Javion Sales, who picked up 114 receiving yards and two TDs. Those 114 receiving yards gave him a new career-high. Quinton Johnson Jr. was another key player, picking up 92 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Booker T. Washington's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Pleasant Grove, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
