Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Ana Solis and Lesli Chavez Lead DSST: College View to Victory

There's no place like home for DSST: College View, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They won by a set and slipped past the DSST: Green Valley Ranch Raptors 3-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

DSST: College View took DSST: Green Valley Ranch into a fifth set where they got it done with a three-point win. The final score came out to 18-25, 25-14, 25-13, 15-25, 15-12.

Leading DSST: College View to victory were Lesli Chavez and Ana Solis. Chavez hit 100% for eight kills and 44 digs and five aces, while Solis had 34 assists and eight aces. That's the most assists Solis has posted over her last six contests.

They weren't the only good servers: DSST: College View was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 18 aces. They are 10-5 when they serve at least ten aces.

DSST: College View's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-10. As for DSST: Green Valley Ranch, with the defeat, they broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 10-9.
