Basketball Game Preview: John Hay vs. Glenville Tarblooders

John Hay is 0-10 against Glenville since January of 2016 but things could change on Tuesday. John Hay will be playing at home against the Glenville Tarblooders at 7:00 p.m.

Last Saturday, John Hay was beaten by Benedictine 82-47. The match marked John Hay's lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Glenville). They claimed a resounding 86-55 win over John F. Kennedy. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Tarblooders with their most commanding win of the season.

John Hay better keep an eye on Theo Castro. He was instrumental in Glenville's win, putting up 24 points. The dominant performance gave Castro a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Xavier Vickerstaff, who posted ten points along with seven boards and three steals.

Glenville smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in four consecutive games.

Glenville's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for John Hay, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.
