Mater Academy East Las Vegas had won six straight games and Lonnie Bass did his part to make it seven on Friday. The Mater Academy East Las Vegas Knights took their match with ease, bagging an 83-24 victory over the Eldorado Firehawks thanks in part to Bass, who dropped a triple-double on 21 points, ten boards, and ten assists. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in assists.

Another player making a difference was Markus Burton, who posted seven points. He is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games.

Mater Academy East Las Vegas pushed their record up to 15-6 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 3-14 Eldorado and 8-14 Moapa Valley (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 36.5% over those games). As for Eldorado, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-14 record this season.
