Basketball Game Preview: Northwest House vs. Granite Falls Tigers

Northwest hasn't had much luck against Granite Falls recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. Having just played yesterday, the Northwest House will head out on the road to face off against the Granite Falls Tigers at 1:00 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

On Friday, Northwest was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 37-32 to Eastside Prep. The House have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Granite Falls was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 39-34 to Bear Creek.

Granite Falls' defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Northwest, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.

Northwest was dealt a bruising 56-25 defeat at the hands of Granite Falls in their previous meeting back in February of 2024. Can Northwest avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
