Football Recap: Santiago Starts Season with Win Against Yucaipa + How To Watch

Santiago had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They strolled past the Yucaipa Thunderbirds with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 31-14. The Sharks pushed the score to 28-6 by the end of the third, a deficit the Thunderbirds cut but never quite recovered from.

Santiago can attribute much of their success to Clayton Plewe, who threw for 275 yards and two TDs while completing 75% of his passes, and also punched in one touchdown on the ground. Those 275 passing yards gave Plewe a new career-high.
