Softball Recap: The Woodlands Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for The Woodlands's offense. They came up short against the Oak Ridge War Eagles on Thursday, falling 15-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the War Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 19-4 back in March.

The Woodlands has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-12 record this season. As for Oak Ridge, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-8 record this season.

The Woodlands does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Oak Ridge, they will head out on the road to face off against MacArthur at 6:30 p.m. on the 25th.
