Basketball Recap: Clyde Takes a Loss

Clyde has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They fell 39-30 to the Jim Ned Indians on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 381st, while the Indians are ranked 27th).

When it comes to explaining why Clyde lost, don't look at Madeline Underwood. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds. Underwood is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last 18 games she's played. Another player making a difference was Gracie Caperton, who posted eight points and five assists.

Clyde's loss dropped their record down to 20-10. As for Jim Ned, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 27-2.

Clyde does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Jim Ned has already played their next game (against Ingram Moore), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
