Basketball Recap: Banquete Comes Up Short

Banquete lost against San Diego back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Banquete Bulldogs might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the San Diego Vaqueros an easy 63-40 victory.

Banquete's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for San Diego, their win was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-4.

Banquete and Hebbronville will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Banquete is facing Hebbronville at the right time seeing as Hebbronville is stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for San Diego, they will be home for the holidays to greet Orange Grove at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
