Basketball Game Preview: Manheim Central Barons vs. Eastern Lebanon County Raiders

The Manheim Central Barons and the Eastern Lebanon County Raiders will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

On Tuesday, Manheim Central was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 54-49 to Cocalico. The Barons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Eastern Lebanon County put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on Annville-Cleona with a sharp 57-37 win. While the Raiders didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Eastern Lebanon County's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Manheim Central, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Manheim Central took their win against Eastern Lebanon County in their previous meeting back in January by a conclusive 69-49 score. Will the Barons repeat their success, or do the Raiders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
