Volleyball Game Preview: Fairfield Union Falcons vs. Circleville Tigers

Fairfield Union hasn't had much luck against Circleville recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Falcons will head out on the road to square off against the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Circleville took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Fairfield Union, who comes in off a win.

Fairfield Union saw some tournament action on Monday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Jackson. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Falcons.

While Fairfield Union might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Jackson scored at least 20 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-20, 13-25, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Circleville suffered their biggest loss since September 6th on Saturday. They came up short against Meadowbrook, falling 3-0.

While Circleville was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Meadowbrook's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-20, 25-22.

Circleville's defeat dropped their record down to 16-6. As for Fairfield Union, their victory bumped their record up to 6-16.

Fairfield Union suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Circleville in their previous meeting on Tuesday. Can the Falcons avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
