Basketball Recap: Providence Takes a Loss

Providence lost against Westwood back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Providence Lions lost 63-40 to the Westwood Lumberjacks. The Lions just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Providence's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Westwood, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Providence Lions duke it out with the Paradise Adventist Academy Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Westwood, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Chester at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
