They took their contest with ease, bagging a 72-13 victory over the Johnson Ferry Christian Academy Saints. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 37-7.

Valor Christian's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ivy Casper, who posted nine points and five blocks. Those five blocks gave Casper a new career-high. Geory LaMark was another key player, putting up 15 points and seven boards.

Valor Christian's victory was their 24th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 20-2. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.1 points per game. As for Johnson Ferry Christian Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season.
