Football Preview: North Salem Vikings vs. Willamette Wolverines
The North Salem Vikings will square off against the Willamette Wolverines at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. North Salem will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last.
North Salem will bounce into Friday's matchup after beating North Medford, who they had gone 0-3 against in their three prior meetings. The Vikings were the clear victors by a 29-6 margin over the Black Tornado on Friday. The game marked the Vikings' most dominant win of the season.

Thomas threw for 301 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 11.6 yards per attempt while Vaughn picked up 132 receiving yards and four scores. Thanks to that big game, Thomas is now up to 23 passing touchdowns on the season. A healthy portion of Thomas' aerial production (96 yards to be exact) also went to TaeSaun Tarusan, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.
Willamette didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Brodie Butler and Tarusan. Tony Cumberland was another major factor on D, picking up a sack and making ten total tackles (4.0 for loss).
North Salem now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Willamette, their victory bumped their record up to 7-0.
