Mechanicsburg entered their tilt with Waynesboro on Friday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They took down the Indians 32-17. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 128th, while the Indians are ranked 329th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Mechanicsburg's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Waynesboro, they dropped their record down to 2-6 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.
