Baseball Recap: Antonian Prep Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Antonian Prep's offense. They came up short against the Central Catholic Buttons on Tuesday, falling 11-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Apaches in their meetings with the Buttons: they've now lost nine in a row.

Antonian Prep saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alex Canales, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Antonian Prep's loss dropped their record down to 12-10-1. As for Central Catholic, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 22-8.

While Antonian Prep had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
