Madera had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They never let the Bakersfield Christian Eagles get on the board and left with a 26-0 win. Considering the Coyotes have won four contests by more than 19 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Madera's victory bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Bakersfield Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-7.

Coming up, Madera will challenge Ventura at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Bakersfield Christian, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Highland at 4:00 p.m. on October 1.
