Soccer Game Preview: Classical vs. Circle

The Classical Saints will take on the Circle Thunderbirds at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Classical will be strutting in after a victory while Circle will be coming in after a defeat.

If Classical beats Circle with four goals on Tuesday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two matches with that exact score. The Saints came out on top against Southeast by a score of 4-2 on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for Classical.

Meanwhile, after soaring to seven goals the game before, Circle was a bit more limited in their contest on Thursday. They came up short against Haysville Campus, falling 4-0.

Circle's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Classical, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.

Classical took their victory against Circle in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 7-0 score. Do the Saints have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Thunderbirds turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
