Volleyball Recap: Rancho Comes Up Short

Rancho lost against Southeast Career Tech back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Rams lost 3-0 to the Roadrunners.

Rancho took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-19, 25-21.

Eliza Melgar was the offensive standout of the match as she had six digs and four aces. Those six digs gave her a new career-high.

Rancho's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Southeast Career Tech, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record this season.

Rancho didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Enterprise on the 22nd. As for Southeast Career Tech, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Del Sol on the 25th.
