Volleyball Recap: Rancho Takes a Loss

Rancho lost against Southeast Career Tech back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Rams came up short against the Roadrunners, falling 3-0.

Rancho took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-19, 25-21.

Among those leading the charge was Eliza Melgar, who had six digs and four aces. Those six digs gave her a new career-high.

Rancho's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Southeast Career Tech, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record this season.

Rancho will face off against Enterprise at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Southeast Career Tech, they will head out to take on Del Sol at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
