Basketball Recap: Three Lakes Takes a Loss

On Saturday, the Three Lakes Bluejays were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 62-57 to the Columbus Catholic Dons.

Three Lakes dropped their record down to 5-8 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Columbus Catholic, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. It'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Three Lakes Bluejays face off against the Goodman-Pembine Falcons at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Columbus Catholic, they will face off against Neillsville at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
